Here's What We Will Need


  • Fresh Conch – raw conch Straight out of the Shell Is Best Cut Into Medium Diced Cubes

  • Fresh veggies – fresh tomato, Diced, finely diced green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and sweet onion, Cucumbers (Peeled & Diced

  • Citrus juices – fresh orange juice and fresh lime juice

  • Habanero (Goat) Pepper – Use To Taste Conch Salad Is Usually A Spicy Dish

  • Salt – to taste (Habanero & Goat Pepper Is Crushed Together To Make a Pepper Salt For This Recipe. The Bahamian Way Of Seasoning Seafood

Recipe


  • 12 Ounces Of Whole Fresh Conch Peeled & Medium Cubed

  • 2 Ounces Diced Green & Red Bell Peppers

  • 2 Ounces Diced Tomatoes

  • 2 Ounces Diced Onions

  • 4 Ounces Peeled & Diced Cucumbers

  • 2 Ounces Fresh Squeezed Juice Of Oranges

  • 2 Ounces Fresh Squeezed Juice Of Limes

  • Salt & Pepper Mix To Taste


Preparation & Use


In a bowl add Conch, Peppers. Onions, Tomatoes & Cucumbers. Pour In Citrus Juices, Orange & Limes. Taste With Salt & Habanero Pepper Mix. Toss the Salad Mix And Serve In A Small Bowl. This Recipe Makes 2 Large Servings, Or. This Salad Like A Ceviche Can Also Be Used To Top Seafood Dishes As You Would A Salsa, Or Used To Replace Tomato Salsa On a Bruschetta. Conch Salad Should Always Be Made With Fresh & Not Frozen Conch!
